Bamboo Airways has undergone significant restructuring, with Le Thi Truc Quynh emerging as the airline’s only female executive.

She currently serves as both a member of the Board of Directors and Deputy CEO, playing a key role in the company’s recovery and strategic development.

The latest board structure of Bamboo Airways includes five members: Chairman Phan Dinh Tue, Standing Vice Chairman Le Thai Sam, Vice Chairmen Le Ba Nguyen and Nguyen Ngoc Trong, and board member Le Thi Truc Quynh.

Truc Quynh also holds the position of Deputy CEO, making her the only female leader in Bamboo Airways’ executive management. She has been instrumental in the airline’s restructuring and growth strategy.

Her leadership at Bamboo Airways follows her tenure at FLC Group, where in 2020, she was appointed Deputy CEO overseeing strategic customer relations for both FLC and Bamboo Airways.

In this role, she was responsible for managing client data, fostering business collaborations, and driving commercial partnerships. She stepped down from this position in February 2023.

A strong background in finance

Le Thi Truc Quynh holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Université de Nantes (France) and boasts over 20 years of experience in the finance and banking sector.

She has held senior positions at several major financial institutions, including Maritime Bank, Ocean Bank, Viet A Bank, and PVcomBank.

Looking ahead, Bamboo Airways aims to expand its fleet, resume international routes, and achieve financial stability, with a goal of breaking even and turning a profit in the coming years.

With Vietnam’s aviation industry experiencing rapid growth, the market presents significant opportunities. International passenger volume is projected to increase by 11%, reaching 45 million travelers, while domestic air travel is expected to rise by 5% to nearly 36 million passengers.

This positive market outlook provides a strong foundation for Bamboo Airways’ recovery and expansion plans.
