VietNamNet Bridge - After two days of examination, Quang Ninh has become the first province in Vietnam sucessufully choosing the Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communication and the Head of the Management Board of Ha Long Bay from 11 candidates.

The exams were held on January 12-13. There were 11 candidates, including six contestants for the post of the Head of the Management Board of Ha Long Bay and five contestants for the title Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications.

On the afternoon of January 13, the Quang Ninh Province Party Standing Committee announced the examination results.

Accordingly, Ms. Pham Thuy Duong, director of the Center for Van Canh Park Conservation, was admitted to the Head of the Management Board of Halong Bay with 82 points.

Ms. Pham Hong Lan, Head of the Science and Education Division of the Quang Ninh Provincial Propaganda Committee was admitted to the Deputy Director of Information and Communication with 80.6 points.

Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Party Secretary of Quang Ninh Province highly appreciated the contestants for their confidence, energy and enthusiasm.

He also emphasized that Quang Ninh expected to create a breakthrough in personnel tasks, in order to attract young, talented people for appointments to important positions.

With the successful exams, Quang Ninh becomes the first province in the country holding a public contest to choose department officials.
