VietNamNet Bridge - With winds of 62-74 km/h, typhoon Wukong is entering the Eat Sea, at a speed of 20-25 km/h. The storm is likely to affect the Truong Sa Archipelago (Spratly Islands) and the provinces from Ca Mau to Khanh Hoa.

On December 25, a tropical depression on the Southeastern coast of Philippines developed into a storm, named Wukong. This may be the last storm in the East Sea in 2012.

According to the National Hydrometeorology Center, at 1pm on December 25, the storm was about 170 km from Mindanao Island (Philippines), with winds reaching 74 km/h. The storm moved between West and East, at the speed of about 25 km per hour.

At around dawn on December 27, the storm will be in the middle of the East Sea. In the afternoon December 27, its eye will be about 320 km from Song Tu Tay Island (Spratly Islands), with the strongest winds of about 88 km/h.

At that time, the storm may directly affect the Spratly Islands and towards the provinces from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau.
