The defending women's champions defeated ACE FC of Myanmar 4-0 to secure the top place in the group, booking them a berth in the final.

Pham Thi Tuoi grabbed a brace with goals in the 19th and 35th minutes after Trinh Nguyen Thanh Hang opened the scoring on 15 minutes. Nguyen Thi Thanh added another 12 minutes later.

Thai Son Nam will next play Asian Scholars who lost 1-2 to Australian Dural Warriors in a later match.

On the men's side, Sanna Khanh Hoa of Viet Nam lost 2-4 to Felda United of Malaysia and were knocked out of the tournament.
