Organised by the Phu My Hung Development Corp. and themed "Hanh Trinh Se Chia" (The Journey of Sharing), the one-month event will feature two parts: The Teddy Bear exhibition and cultural and entertainment activities.

The former will see 35 teddy bears measuring 1.66 to 1.73m placed around the mall and Crescent Lake for visitors to take photos.

"Teddy Town" on the ground floor of Crescent Mall will have a collection of teddy bears of various sizes and games for children and their families.

During weekends there will be street music performances by both local and foreign singers, outdoor film screenings and camping besides a fair with 50 stalls containing books and souvenirs.

The opening (November 15) and closing ceremonies (December 13) would see music shows featuring many renowned signers and artists, Nguyen Buu Hoi, deputy director of Phu My Hung Corp, told a media briefing on November 4.

For every "like" the Teddy Bear Festival fanpage gets at https://www.facebook.com/teddybearfestival2015/, the organisers would donate VND500 to the Uoc Mo Cua Thuy (Thuy's Dream) programme launched by Tuoi Tre newspaper to help disadvantaged children suffering from cancer, he added.
