For the first time in its history, the Tech Awards 2024, held on January 10 in Ho Chi Minh City, introduced a new category recognizing the most beloved tech reviewers. Duy Luan De Thuong, Vinh Xo, and Duong De were honored as the most popular reviewers of the year.

New milestones at Tech Awards 2024

The Tech Awards 2024, organized annually by VnExpress since 2012, added two new categories this year: Favorite Tech Reviewer and Outstanding AI Application Brand 2024.

The reviewer category featured 10 nominees, each known for their engaging content on social media platforms and significant contributions to the tech community throughout the year.

Meanwhile, the award for Outstanding AI Application Brand 2024 was claimed by Samsung for its innovations in artificial intelligence.

A decade of honoring tech excellence

The Tech Awards spotlight outstanding technology products and brands officially available in Vietnam during the year.

This year’s event featured 19 traditional categories across three groups: Devices (7 categories), Platforms and Applications (4 categories), and Home Appliance Brands (8 categories).

With nearly 800,000 votes cast, the winners were determined by a combination of public votes (40%) and evaluations by industry experts (60%).

The inclusion of the Favorite Tech Reviewer category reflects the significant role of influencers in shaping consumer choices and advancing tech awareness in Vietnam.
