On the occasion of International Children's Day (June 1), Tan Hiep Phat Group’s CEO David Riddle and staff members visited and presented gifts to children orphaned by the Covid-19 pandemic in HCM City.

Through the program “Walking forward with you” founded by the Thanh Nien Newspaper in 2021, Tan Hiep Phat Group committed to provide financial support worth over VND13 billion to 49 orphans until they reach 18 years old.

The partnership with the “Walking forward with you” program is a commitment to provide sponsorship and support helping the orphaned children overcome pain caused by the loss of their parents. The group’s participation provides children with affection and care from the community to hopefully fill parts of the emotional void and worries of these families.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has affected children more than anyone else in society. Although no one can replace their parents, with our best efforts, we believe that we can encourage these children to be more confident, grow up with strong virtues, develop their talents and contribute to society,” said Riddle.

“Tan Hiep Phat Group provides material support to help children ensure their daily living and education. We also provide emotional support by organizing periodic gatherings with the children to help them feel the care and love. From these gatherings, we can also keep updated on their current situation so we can provide timely advice and support. Tan Hiep Phat Group is committed to making every effort to continue supporting children until adulthood, empowering them to push forward in their life paths and raise their dreams,” Riddle said.

Besides the “Walking forward with you”, Tan Hiep Phat Group has partnered with other meaningful social initiatives throughout the country for many years, honoring its core value of being responsible and serving communities and society. Among these are the “Connecting with love”, “Droplet of gratitude” programs, the building of bridges in disadvantaged communes in the southwestern region, and donation of breeding livestock to impoverished households.

These programs have contributed to building financial foundations and economic means for many in underprivileged areas. These initiatives continue to demonstrate Tan Hiep Phat’s commitment to serving communities and society.
