After winning the Miss Photo Vietnam title in 2002 aged just 19, Hang has been known as the most progressive model on the catwalk. Recently, she was a board member of Vietnam’s Model Association. She has also played leading roles in numerous TV dramas and movies.
“I have watched VNTM since the first season where potential models have been found for the local fashion industry. I am proud to host this show and strongly believe that I can inspire and teach the younger generations of models with my knowledge and passion for fashion. I hope audiences will support me in this new position,” said Thanh Hang in a statement.
VNTM 2013 will open for contestants aged between 18 and 25 at a height of 1.70m for females and 1.75m for males on August 12 at the Grand Palace Convention Center in HCMC’s Tan Binh District and on August 19 at The Garden in Hanoi.
