The K-pop boyband will kick off a 12-day tour with a two performances on June 22 and 23 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, the Republic of Korea (RoK).
Following their shows in the RoK, Super Junior will go on to play concerts in Bangkok, Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh City in July.
The group will then bring their tour to the rest of Asia, including Taipei and Hong Kong (China), Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta in August and September.
The upcoming concert will mark the third time that Super Junior has visited Vietnam as a tour stop, following their first time in 2011 and their most recent visit in March 2023.
Debuting in 2005, Super Junior includes 13 male singers formed by one of the RoK’s biggest entertainment companies, SM Entertainment.
Their fame in the RoK and Asia came about through the songs Miracle and Happiness.
In 2009, the group released their third album Sorry, Sorry which sold over 29,000 copies on the first day and went on to become the RoK’s best-selling album of the year after only a month of release and a best-selling Korean-language album in Taiwan (China), Thailand, mainland China, and the Philippines.
The band has released seven Korean albums and one Japanese album, as well as holding numerous tours across Asia and the world. Popular hits include Sorry Sorry, Bonamana, Mr. Simple, and Black Suit.
As of October 2018, the band has eight active members.
