The Binh Phuoc People’s Committee said at a press briefing yesterday that the meeting’s agenda will discuss outcomes of the 10th meetings of the economic and the security and foreign affairs subcommittees, the ninth meeting of the locality subcommittee, and the meeting of working groups.
Sidelines events will include a trade fair, the seventh regional youth forum and the 11th forum on trade promotion, investment and tourism.
Implementation of the joint declaration after the 10th meeting will be reviewed and evaluated and measures discussed to enhance co-operation and sharing of information in economics, culture, education, environment, tourism and trade among localities. The meeting will also talk about ways to foster peace, security and stability for sustainable development in the region.
The CLV Development Triangle Area consists of 13 provinces, including four in the east of Cambodia, four in the south of Laos, and five in Vietnam.
