The machine invented by university students
These are the special functions of the heat receiver invented by a group of students, Nguyen Huu Quang, Pham Cong Tu, Tran Thi Dien, Nguyen Tan Danh and Nguyen Tuan An, of the HCM City Industry & Trade Junior College.
Nguyen Huu Quang, head of the research team, said there is a huge volume of heat in the air, which can change according to the weather. When the weather gets warmer, the volume of heat will increase.
The machine has been designed in a way so that it can collect heat to cool the air, condense steam in the air, and use that to heat water.
The machine will create 60-70oC from the waste heat of the condenser. The waste heat is the system collected from the atmosphere. The steam to be condensed will be used as drinking water, so it will cool the air.
This is the outstanding feature of the machine compared with other equipment such as refrigerators and air-conditioners, which make the surrounding environment hot.
Pham Cong Tu, a member of the research team, said the volume of steam in the air is huge. In the hot and humid climate like Vietnam, the volume of steam is even higher.
The machine invented by a group of students can automatically produce hot water and drinking water, not depending on weather conditions, while the process consumes little electricity. Moreover, during the operation, the machine will cool rooms. |
The machine has special significance in the context of seriously polluted water and air sources.
The machine invented by a group of students can automatically produce hot water and drinking water, not depending on weather conditions, while the process consumes little electricity. Moreover, during the operation, the machine will cool rooms.
The research team said that the machine can be used for resorts and hotels.
It can produce hot water for bathing, washing, and swimming, or produce water for production. It can also be used in households, schools, hospitals and agencies which need hot water and drinking water.
