The pristine forest in central Ninh Thuan Province features a number of destinations for ecotourism, notably Da Ban Waterfall, Gia Non Waterfall and Gia Nhong Stream.
Local residents, which consist of the Raglai and Churu people – two of some over 150 ethnic groups in the country – offer visitors unique and authentic insights into their culture.
The national park is expected to boost the province’s tourism industry and improve livelihoods for local residents.
Tranquil: Gia Nhong Stream, one of the park’s more popular tourist attractions.
Educational: A local guide giving a presentation on locally grown herbal medicine in the national park.
Super plant: Ensete glaucum or snow banana, a natural ingredient used in herbal medicine, is said to have great healing powers and considered very valuable among locals.
