VietNamNet Bridge – Both of yesterday's matches (Jan 26) in the V-League's third round closed with same score of 2-2.

Former champions SHB Da Nang, after taking a lead of 2-0, were unexpectedly tied by lower-level Dong Nai.

Dong Tam Long An shared one point with bottom-placed Hoang Anh Gia Lai, while having the advantage of the home turf.

Da Nang¨ and Long An improved their positions with one step up for each side. Da Nang are now in fourth place, while Long An remain in 10th.

Meanwhile, Dong Nai stay in eighth position and Gia Lai failed to get out of their bottom position, which they saw for the first time in V-League.

Earlier on Saturday, Thanh Hoa jumped to the top of the ranking table after their first ever 2-1 triumph over Song Lam Nghe An at Vinh Stadium.

This was one of two matches that ended with a difference in goals this round. The other match was a 3-1 victory of Ninh Binh over Ha Noi T&T on Friday.

Nguyen Xuan Thanh and Danny van Bakel scored for Thanh Hoa in the first half, while Le The Cuong narrowed the score for the host at the 77th minute, after dozen of chances were missed by both sides.

Song Lam Nghe An also lost first place to Thanh Hoa after this game.

With seven points following three matches, Thanh Hoa will be the leader in two weeks, until the V-League returns in action on February 9, after one week of rest for the Tet holiday.

In other matches on Saturday, Quang Nam finished with a 1-1 draw against Hai Phong, and Binh Duong tied Quang Ninh Coal in a goalless match.
