A spring-themed exhibition is running at the Center of Art-Photography Exhibition in Hanoi to depict spring from artists’ diverse dimensions.

The exhibition features more than 90 artworks of different forms, from paintings to graphic arts, sculpture and photography, all depicting the beauty of spring, Vietnam’s natural landscapes, and people’s daily life, Nhan Dan newspaper reports.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on February 13, Vi Kien Thanh, director of the Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the annual event aims to encourage artists’ creativity and introduce new artworks to the public.

The spring-themed artworks express the artists’ hope for a new year full of happiness, health and prosperity for everyone.

The event, which will last until February 19, is jointly held by the Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition Department, the Vietnamese Fine Arts Association, and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
