The tournament saw many Vietnamese expatriates in France take part.

The event took place between June 21 and 23 and attracted a total of 400 Vietnamese expatriates, French friends, and a few competitors from European countries.

Participants had the chance to join in 11 different sports including football, volleyball, shuttlecock, badminton, table tennis, and chess.

Aside from categories just for adults, children also had the opportunity to partake in sports such as archery, badminton, and football. 

The tournament provided an opportunity for Vietnamese students to meet, bond, and strengthen solidarity between international friends.

Ahead of the tournament on June 15, a ceremony to commemorate the 100th founding anniversary of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in France was held in Paris.
