Huynh Ha Thang, headmaster of Lich Hoi Thuong A Town Primary School in Tran De District, on April 9 submitted his resignation to the district Department of Education and Training.
Thang said that he resigned for failing to be a good headmaster, so he wanted to return to work as a teacher.
The Tran De District’s Department of Education and Training has agreed and are completing procedures for his resignation.
An earlier a check by the provincial Department of Education and Training at Lich Hoi Thuong A Town Primary School under Thang’s management showed that many grade 2 pupils couldn’t read.
