VietNamNet Bridge - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Head of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-corruption, has decided to set up seven inspection groups to check the investigation and judgment of serious corruption cases.

The first mission, led by Mr. Ngo Van Du (Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption) will work in HCM City and at the Government Inspectorate.

The second mission, headed by Mr. Tran Dai Quang (Politburo Member, Minister of Public Security) will work in the city of Hanoi and Hai Phong.

The third mission, led by Mr. Nguyen Ba Thanh (Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of Central Civil Affairs Committee) will work at the Ministry of Public Security, the People’s Supreme Procuracy and the People’s Supreme Court.

The 4th group, led by Mr. Truong Hoa Binh (Member of the Party Central Committee, head of the People's Supreme Court) will work in Can Tho City and Dong Nai province.

The fifth mission, headed by Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh (Member of the Party Central Committee, the Head of the People’s Supreme Procuracy) will work in the provinces of Hai Duong and Hung Yen.

The sixth mission, led by Mr. Huynh Phong Tranh (Member of the Party Central Committee, the General Inspector of the Government) will work in the provinces of Dak Lak and Binh Thuan.

The 7th working group, headed by Mr. Nguyen Van Hien (Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Judiciary Committee of the National Assembly), will work in the provinces of Ca Mau and An Giang.

The inspection will take place from August 15 to September 30.
