VietNamNet Bridge - In the early morning of February 3, HCM City police patrolled a series of roads in the city’s center and inspected some entertainment centers.

The police blocked 24 key intersections in the central area.

Barriers were set up on the roads of Dong Khoi, Ton Duc Thang, Me Linh Square, Ho Huan Industry, Hai Ba Trung, Dong Du, Le Loi, Tran Hung Dao, Nguyen Cao and Ngo Duc Ke in District 1.

Administrative examination was conducted.

Many people committed basic traffic offenses such as having no vehicle registration, drinking alcohol, running on banned roads, etc.

In some cases, when police officers signaled to stop, the drivers sped up to run away but they were chased and forced to stop after a few minutes.

According to the HCM City Road - Railway Traffic Police Department, in the morning of February 3, 288 cases of violations were detected, with one car and 209 motorcycles seized.

The police inspected the Blanchy Tash Bar (No. 93 - 95 Hai Ba Trung Street, District 1) and recorded 18 administrative violations.
