VietNamNet Bridge – A scientific forum for international students will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on April 6-10, attracting 100 domestic and regional students.
Among them, 35 hail from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and China, not to mention another 1,000 local students joining exchanges during the forum.
During a press conference on April 4, Chairman of the municipal Students’ Association Lam Dinh Thang said the event provides a venue for exchanges with foreign students, particularly in scientific research, and hoped that it will become a regular activity in the future.
The forum is divided into a plenary session and thematic discussions on innovation and scientific research, voluntary activities, start-up and employment, climate change and environmental protection, with leading experts at home and abroad taking part.
As part of the event, participants are scheduled to visit the city’s landmarks, scientific-technology centres and relic sites.
The forum will be co-hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Students’ Association and the Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City.
