VietNamNet Bridge – Tourists to Bac Ha District in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai on weekends will have the opportunity to drop by the Saturday night market, a unique cultural aspect of ethnic people there.

Mong people’s performance reproduces a market session, a usual activity of ethnic people.

Opened since March last year, the night market sells grilled dishes and corn wine, a specialty of the area, and features free dance and music performances reflecting the unique culture of Tay, Nung and Hmong ethnic people such as flute and dance performances with umbrellas and hand fans.
