VietNamNet Bridge – Taking photos of the national flag has become popular at amusement centers in HCM City, which attract young people, workers and foreign visitors.
A group called “Thanh Nien” (Youth Group) with more than 30 members from 22-35 years old takes photos for free of people with the national flag.
The photos will be put together to make a large map of Vietnam to raise funds for the program "Join hands to defend marine sovereignty".
The photos will be sent to Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos (Paracel and Spratly Islands), accompanied with a flag with signatures of the people, as thanks to the soldiers who are guarding the country's waters and islands.
The aim of this program is calling on HCM City youth to express their opinion about patriotism and national pride and to convey the message "Let’s be proper and civilized patriots”.
The campaign has attracted many foreigners. In the picture are Dave and Tim (French) at the HCMC Youth Cultural House.
