VietNamNet Bridge – Saigon Heat is riding high in the Asean Basketball League after securing a 77-72 victory over defending champions Indonesia Warriors in their third game.

This is the second victory after the Vietnamese representatives beat Chang Thailand Slammers in a tight, away game in Bangkok three days earlier.

Heat trailed three points in the first quarter, but reversed the deficit at the end of the second to lead 37-29 at half time.

It expanded the lead to one more point in the third quarter and went on to win the match although Warriors pulled back four points in the last quarter.

The win on Saturday night at the Tan Binh Gymnasium, HCM City, also helped Saigon Heat climb to the second place with four points, but they have played two games more than third-placed San Miguel Beerman of the Philippines.
