VietNamNet Bridge – The Russian media on May 22 reported that the local police had closed a garment facility in Leninsky, Moscow, which recruited more than 300 illegal Vietnamese workers.
According to RIA Novosti news agency quoted the press center of the Interior Ministry of Russia, on Tuesday night, policemen and officers of the Immigration Agency of the Russian Federation detected a garment factory that illegally produced sport clothes with the Olympic logo and famous brands near Kartino village. More than 300 Vietnamese workers were working at that time.
According to the source, the Vietnamese workers did not have residency registration.
More than 15,000 finished products, dyes and fabric samples were seized.
Ria Novosti also reported that the illegal garment factory was managed by two Vietnamese citizens.
The Russian authorities are verifying identity and searching these people.
