VietNamNet Bridge – The serious accident occurred on Highway QL46, in Nam Dan district, Nghe An province at about 3.30pm on August 20. The car is owned by a “tycoon” in Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province.
According to Nam Dan District police bureau, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Dragon Edition was running on Highway QL46 when it hit a motorcycle at the 35th km in Van Dien commune, Nam Dan distrit.
After the crash, the motorcycle was rolled into the chassis of the super-car.
The crash killed two men on the motorcycle on the spot. They are Dinh Van Hiep, 20, and Nguyen Van Cuong, 28, residents of Van Dien commune. The motorbike was completely damaged.
The accident also broke the car’s lights and the front.
Shortly after the incident, local police were present at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
The accident caused traffic congestion for several hours on Highway 46.
This Rolls-Royce Phantom Dragon Edition was driven by a “tycoon” named Tran Van Thach, 47, from Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province.
This car was imported into Vietnam in May 2012, the fourth in Vietnam, worth nearly VND40 billion ($1.7 million). There are only 33 cars of this kind in the world.
