VietNamNet Bridge – Ha Noi's transport department has suggested to the capital's People's Committee that the collection of the annual road maintenance fee from motorbike owners should halt from next year.

 VietNamNet Bridge – HCM City's People's Committee has set a target to collect some VND 307 billion (US$14 million) as road maintenance fee from motorcycle users during 2015.

 VietNamNet Bridge - From July 1, the car users who do not pay road maintenance fee will be fined from VND6 million to VND10 million ($300-$500).

By the end of March, the Road Maintenance Fund collected more than VND1 trillion ($50 million) of road maintenance fees of automobile owners. The fee for motorcycles is not fixed yet.
