To accommodate a series of events themed “Colors of Uncle Ho’s City” in celebration of the April 30 reunification holiday, Ho Chi Minh City will implement extensive traffic restrictions across central districts, affecting both vehicles and pedestrians.

The city’s Traffic Police Division has announced adjustments to traffic flow in key areas to facilitate fireworks displays, drone shows, and art performances on floating platforms.

Specifically, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 19 and 26, traffic will be restricted on the following streets:

Le Loi Street (from Pasteur to Dong Khoi)
Nguyen Hue Street (from Le Thanh Ton to Ton Duc Thang)
Dong Khoi Street (from Mac Thi Buoi to Ton Duc Thang)
Ton Duc Thang Street (from Nguyen Sieu to Khanh Hoi Bridge)
Vo Van Kiet Street (from Ho Tung Mau to the Khanh Hoi Tunnel)
Ngo Van Nam Street (from Nguyen Sieu to Ton Duc Thang)
Nguyen Sieu Street (from Ngo Van Nam to Ton Duc Thang)
Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (from Hoang Dieu to Khanh Hoi Bridge)
Ham Nghi Street (from Ho Tung Mau to Ton Duc Thang)
Hai Trieu Street (from Ho Tung Mau to Nguyen Hue)

For vehicles belonging to businesses, restaurants, and hotels near Me Linh Square (Phan Van Dat, Ho Huan Nghiep, Ngo Duc Ke): vehicles may only travel in the direction out of the square, not into Dong Khoi Street. This applies to any remaining vehicles after road closures are enforced.

Additionally, parking and gathering to view fireworks is strictly prohibited on bridges including Thu Thiem, Binh Loi, Binh Trieu, Mong, Calmette, Ong Lanh, Phu My, Kenh Thanh Da, Sai Gon, Rach Chiec, and overpasses at Hang Xanh, Go Dua, and Nguyen Huu Canh.
