Entitled Oriental, the luxurious collection of jewellery, including necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings, has been invented by the creative team of the Vietnamese brand CAO Fine Jewellery – a subsidiary of PNJ, which is the biggest jewellery manufacturer and retailer in Việt Nam.

The special collection was unveiled at the inauguration of a flagship store of CAO Fine Jewellery in Hà Nội’s centre.

According to Creative Group Manager Trần Thị Tuyết Loan, the idea for the collection comes from the pride and respect for the national identity of every Vietnamese person.

“Our artisans have transformed the image of ripe sprigs of rice into exquisite jewellery pieces, presenting the brilliant beauty of the women. The resilient bamboo symbolises the unchangeable dignity of the women despite many ups and downs in life,” she said.

Depending on the complexity, it takes about five or six months to complete a piece. However, the goldsmiths have spent a year perfecting a special necklace in the Oriental collection. The piece presents hundreds of yellow gemstones, dozens of diamonds and pearls.

Speaking at the inauguration, Chairwoman of PNJ Board, Cao Thị Ngọc Dung, said that each item created by their goldsmiths is an artful masterpiece presenting not only traditional craft values and technology, but also the talent of Vietnamese jewellers and the meticulous craftsmanship.

Besides the Oriental, the designers and goldsmiths of CAO Fine Jewellery have also presented other luxurious collections that are created from diamonds, gemstones, pearls and precious metals such as gold and platinum.

Visiting the store, guests can have a chance to contemplate the exquisite items and to learn about the meticulous yet time-consuming crafting process to complete an item. They can also enjoy the customised jewellery design created by experienced goldsmiths at the store. — VNS
