The map, covering 60 square metres and weighing 1.5 tonnes, was created by Pham Ngoc Thanh from the southern province of Ben Tre using more than 20 kinds of fruit, including cocoa, mangos, oranges, grapes, and pomelos.

The map was displayed in Can Tho as part of the local Festive Day organised by the municipal military command from February 6-9 in honour of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet).

This was the ninth consecutive year the event was held, spreading festive cheer with traditional music performances and cuisine.

The municipal military command also provided 600 Tet gifts and free medical exams to poor households in the locality during the event.
