An exhibition showcasing digital reproductions of 24 masterpieces of Italian artist Raffaello opened in Ho Chi Minh City’s exhibition house on August 25.
Visitors at the exhibition “Raffaello: Opera Omnia”
The event was presented for the first time in Asia by the Italian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Museum, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in cooperation with Italian National Television RAI and sponsors.
Titled “Raffaello: Opera Omnia”, the exhibition is a combination of the world’s painting masterpieces and cutting-edge technology, recreating artworks of Raffaello in the most truthfully manner, said Carlotta Colli, the Italian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City.
She added that visitors will have a chance to enjoy masterpieces of Raffaello in the same space and at the same time, despite the fact that the paintings are in different parts of Italy and Europe.
The event has a special meaning, expressing the commitment of Italy in deepening and widening cultural cooperation and exchange between Vietnam and Italy.
The exhibition runs through September 20.
