The one who ranked third in this content is also a student of Webster University - Denes Boros (Hungary). In the blitz chess content, once again Quang Liem and Georg Meier shared the championship.
Quang Liem did not attend the standard content and chess player Fidel Corrales from Cuba won the first place. Fidel Corrales is also a student of Webster University but he is not in the group of the players with the highest Elo rating.
Quang Liem did not compete in this content because from October 15, he will take part in the Spice Cup and he wanted to concentrate efforts on this important tournament.
At this event, students of the Webster School also have a chance to win the championships. According to the Director of the Spice Chess Academy – Mrs. Susan Polgar, the Webster School has up to nine international super grandmasters and international grandmasters. Among them, Le Quang Liem (Elo 2712) has the highest Elo rating. At the upcoming Spice Cup, Quang Liem is also the number one seed and is the leading candidate for the championship.
