The High Command of Coast Guard Region 2 and sponsors awarded 10 bicycles and 20 scholarships, 100 sets of clothes, 228 schoolbags to students in extremely difficult circumstances.

Earlier, on the afternoon of July 9, in Quang Nam, the High Command of Coast Guard Region 2 coordinated with the Laborers Newspaper and some organizations to present gifts under the program "1 million national flags for fishermen".
At the program, the unit presented 1,500 national flags, 20 bags of first aid medicine, 10 boxes of gifts and 100 sets of clothes to fishermen, poor students who overcoming difficulties to achieve good studying results in the communes of Tam Quang, Tam Hai, Tam Giang (Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province). These are practical activities to encourage, help and support fishermen in developing people's livelihood, socio-economy; thereby contributing to promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc in building and firmly protecting the sovereignty of sea and islands of the country.
