VietNamNet Bridge – Hong Kong TV stars Ron Ng and Tavia Yeung will come to HCMC next month to join a series of cultural exchanges and charity auctions.

The duo’s visit to Vietnam is among activities of a program jointly held by SCTV, the city based Saigontourist cable television provider and TVB International.

Ng and Yeung, who work for Hong Kong-based TVB television station, will arrive in Vietnam on December 3 before taking part in a press conference in the afternoon, prior to a gala dinner in the evening where they will perform two songs each.

A highlight of the live gala dinner is to raise funds for Tam long Viet (Vietnam’s heart) Foundation under Vietnam Television to help poor and disadvantaged children nationwide. The event will have the participation of The Voice 2012 winner Huong Tram, winner of So You Think You Can Dance 2012 Lam Vinh Hai, Miss Vietnam World in 2010 Luu Thi Diem Huong and Miss Grand Slam Asia 2009 Huong Giang. The Hong Kong duo will also have a meet with fans on December 4 in HCMC.

Another popular actress Charmaine Sheh is currently trying to arrange her schedule so that she can join the duo in HCMC.

Ron Ng, born in 1979, is one of TVB’s top stars and is also a popular singer in Hong Kong. Local audiences have watched his roles in numerous TV dramas and videos. Yeung, also born in 1979, has been a popular actress on TVB for a number of years.
