Duong Huu Tri, born 1987, set a vehicle on fire, and attacked law enforcement officers, leading to the death of a mobile police officer on duty.

To support the transition, the Ministry of Public Security has re-organised and upgraded its Air Security Division, under the Immigration Department, into the National Aviation Security Centre.
