Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrives in Washington DC on May 11 for the ASEAN-US special summit at the invitation of President Joe Biden. In the photo, President Biden welcomes Prime Minister Chinh to the banquet on May 12 evening.
This is PM Chinh’s first working visit to the US which is scheduled to last throught to May 17.
While in Washington DC, PM Chinh attends the ASEAN-US special summit on May 12 – 13 hosted by President Biden to mark 45 years of relations between the two sides.
Southeast Asian leaders who participate in the special summit come together to pose for a group photo.
PM Chinh stands alongside other ASEAN leaders as they take part in the banquet hosted by President Biden.
He is scheduled to have bilateral meetings with ASEAN leaders and US business executive leaders during his stay.
