Some steel bridges on Le Van Luong Road, in Nha Be district, Ho Chi Minh City are rusty, with many screws having fallen out.

There are many steel bridges that have been used for dozens of years, such as the Binh Loi Bridge in Binh Thanh District, the Rach Dia Bridge and Rach Doi Bridge in Nha Be district.

However, the quality of the steel bridge has deteriorated.

These bridges are very old and severely degraded but they have only been temporarily fixed.

The iron bars and screws placed here for the safety of the bridges is suspicious.

Many parts of the bridge are rusty.

The bridge shakes every time a vehicle passes.

The bridge face is covered by rusty iron pieces, which is slippery when it rains.

Electric wire is used to hold the joints together.

People call them  “bridges awaiting collapse”.
