The Vietnamese finished first in the women’s C1 2,000m event with a time of 10:00.985min.

Fruzsina Miskolczy of the hosts was second at 10:06.380min, while Phương’s teammate Nguyễn Thị Tuyết clocked 10:16.690 and finished third.

Phương teamed with Nguyễn Thị Ngân to claim the bronze in the women’s C2 500m event, behind two teams from China.

Their younger teammates Nguyễn Thị Ly and Bùi Thị Yến snatched silver and bronze in the C2 200m junior and C2 500m junior events, respectively. — VNS
