The information was confirmed by Pham Kim Dung, country director of Miss International Vietnam.

Phuong Nhi, 21, stands at 1.70 metres tall, with measurements of 80-57-88. She won the second runner-up title at Miss World Vietnam 2022, thereby meeting the criteria to compete at 2023 Miss International pageant.

Launched in 1960, Miss International is among the Big Four international beauty competitions besides Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth. 

Previously, Vietnam's Pham Hong Thuy Van finished as the third runner-up in 2015 and Tuong San was among the Top 8 back in 2019.
