This workshop is about 60m2, with nearly 10 workers.

The workshop is fully equipped with mechanical engineering tools, but they are not used to make machines but unique handicrafts.

The main materials are industrial waste such as bearings, spark plugs, and chains purchased from garages and scrap traders. They are clean and polished before being assembled and manufactured into gifts.

Mr. Son, the workshop manager, said he has pursued this job for 15 years. "This job requires creativity and meticulousness to make beautiful and marvelous products." Son said he had manufactured all the equipment in the workshop. The workshop has many orders from clients at home and abroad.

Special welding tools are used to make small welds requiring high precision.

A welder needs from three to five years to be proficient in the welding of small details. 

To make a model motorcycle, workers have to create multiple parts. 

The products are changed monthly to meet market demand.

After completion, they are electroplated.

One of the products of the workshop - a mini cyclo, sells for only VND95,000 ($4.2).
