Many peach trees in Nhat Tan Ward in Hanoi have started blooming days before the Lunar New Year or Tet.

Branches of peach and soft pink peach blossoms have gone on sale at Quang An flower market in Tay Ho District of Hanoi, signaling the arrival of the festive period in the lead up to the Lunar New Year, known locally as Tet.

Situated in the northwest of Vietnam, the mountainous northern province of Lao Cai is home to Sa Pa, a culturally-rich town that boasts stunning natural landscapes when spring arrives.

On December 31, many peach flower blossoms had been put on display at Hanoi's Quang An Market.

Peach blossoms have appeared on Au Co Street in Hanoi, signalling that the Lunar New Year or Tet is approaching.

Lunar New Year holiday (Tet) spirit is in the air, as peach flowers bloom and kumquat fruit turn yellowish. Tay Ho district is the most famous destination for the Tet specialties in Hanoi.
