In the morning, the Party Central Committee convened at the hall and elected two new members to the Central Inspection Commission: Ha Quoc Tri, Deputy Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and Head of the National Assembly delegation for the province; and Dinh Van Cuong, Director of Division I, Central Inspection Commission.

Additionally, the committee introduced personnel planning for the 14th Politburo and Secretariat for the 2026-2031 term, as well as updates to the Party Central Committee personnel planning.

The afternoon session focused on discussions around the proposal to establish Hue City as a centrally-administered city, culminating in the closing session.

Tran Thanh Man, a member of the Politburo and Chairman of the National Assembly, led the meeting on behalf of the Politburo. Various Politburo members presented reports to address feedback gathered during the session.

Notable presentations included a report by Nguyen Xuan Thang, a member of the Politburo and Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, which summarized key theoretical and practical lessons from 40 years of socialist-oriented renovation in Vietnam.

Nguyen Hoa Binh, Standing Deputy Prime Minister, presented the report on socio-economic, financial, and budgetary issues, including proposals related to the North-South high-speed railway project.

Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organization Commission, delivered a report on Party-building matters, including updates to the Party’s electoral regulations, the personnel summary of the 13th term, and strategic direction for personnel for the 14th Party Central Committee.

Luong Cuong, Standing Member of the Secretariat, introduced the draft resolution of the 10th Plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee, which was subsequently adopted.

The meeting concluded with a closing address by the General Secretary and President To Lam, affirming the resolutions and decisions made during the session.
