VietNamNet Bridge – Da River Hydropower Plant, also known as Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant, is an alternative sightseeing spot for travelers to the northwestern mountainous province of Hoa Binh.

The province boasts popular locations like Mai Chau and Thung Nai. However, the plant site offers great views of the river, terrace fields and mountains and its importance to the nation cannot be underestimated.

The plant provides electricity for the whole country and helps prevent floods as well as regulating water for agricultural purposes of the Red River Delta. It was built in November 1979 and inaugurated in December 1994. The plant has a capacity of 1,920 megawatts with eight generators which were set up in tunnels under the mountain.
