VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnamese American rapper Antonius Maximus will showcase his three latest music videos and launch a tour of universities in September.

The music videos are On & On (featuring Vietnam Idol 2008 winner Phuong Vy), Look At My Sexy (with a performance by dancer Milan Le) and I Love Vietnam 2 (featuring Phuong Vy, Cindy V, Beatboxer Mr.T, Ha Okio, Gil, JP Girlz, dancer Milan Le and DJ Taiz).

The songs by Maximus and music by Nguyen Hoang Anh will be broadcast on YanTV for young audiences on Monday, August 11.

Maximus released the first “I love Vietnam” music video in 2010 with the sponsorship of Canon Vietnam, featuring artists Thao Trang Idol, Suboi, Thanh Bui and Ha Okio. The song received positive responses among local youth and overseas Vietnamese thanks to its exciting and jubilant hiphop beat and simple yet meaningful lyrics about the love of young people towards the country. The chorus “Welcome Back to the mother land - Nuoc Viet Nam la que huong cua toi” left a deep impression on audiences. The 2014 version of I love Vietnam was filmed in HCMC, Vung Tau, Nha Trang, and Phan Thiet.

Maximus is also known as a producer/composer for some popular artists in the world, including The Black Eyed Peas, Gnarls Barkley, Kid (Legendary Kid n Play),  Patrick Swayze, Raz B (Platinum selling group “B2K”), and Dat Phan (Last Comic Standing).
