In recent years, Hoa Binh Provincial Literature and Arts Association has promoted many activities in the fields of literature, fine arts, music, theater, folk arts and photography. Through these activities, the quality of artworks of local artists has been improved and many local artists won awards from central to local levels.

To further promote literary and artistic activities at the grassroots level, the Hoa Binh Provincial Literature and Arts Association recently organized the 2023 Photography Camp in Mai Chau town, Mai Chau district to help local artists find new ideas and create quality works. The camp also facilitated members of local clubs to implement Resolution 23 of the Party on literature and arts, continuing to build and develop literature and arts in the new period.

The 2023 Photography Creation Camp hosted more than 20 photographers who are members of the Hoa Binh Provincial Literature and Arts Association. This was also one of the practical activities creating conditions for members to exchange experiences and improve the quality of Hoa Binh's photo creation activities and art photo exhibitions.

The organizing committee received more than 150 entries in all genres and over 50 photos were picked for being awarded at the closing ceremony. Photographers faithfully portrayed the beauty of nature, people, economic achievements, science and technology of ethnic minorities in Hoa Binh province. The photos captured the hidden beauty of the lives of ethnic minorities in Hoa Binh province.
