VietNamNet Bridge – Viet Nam have triumphed at the 2012 One Asian Cup (OAC), held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The four-member Vietnamese eSports FIFA 2 Online team won all three leading positions at the event after easily defeating strong rivals from Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Nguyen Thanh Tong won a gold medal. The silver and bronze medals went to Nguyen Thai Bao and Nguyen Tuan Anh.

It was the third consecutive time that Viet Nam has won the event.

"I am very happy as my team-mates and I won all three leading positions. It is very wonderful. I thank everyone for their support for the team," said Tong.

Pham Van Thanh, head coach of the national eSports team, said that the team had carefully prepared their skills, tactics, psychology and physical strength.

He said the wins would help raise Vietnamese eSports to a new height.
