VietNamNet Bridge – Search and rescue forces are still working to find a missing male worker of the Dak Mi 2 Hydro-power plant when he slid down the river of Dak Mi in the central province on Sunday.

Deputy head of the disaster prevention board of Phuoc Son District, Nguyen Van Thanh said Le Van Thanh, 34, from Ha Tinh Province, who is a worker at the plant, and another worker were getting vegetables at a farm on the river bank when he suddenly slipped.
Thanh said the swiftly flowing river during the flood season in the central region washed him away.
He said the accident occurred in the section of river near the hydro-power plant in between the two communes of Phuoc Loc and Phuoc Son.
The board will release more information once the search has concluded.
In September, two workers went missing when a water valve of the Song Bung 2 Hydropower Plant was broken in Nam Giang District of the province.
Search and rescue forces found only one victim, while the other is still missing.
