The tournament is expected to develop the country's off-road auto sports movement. This is also a chance for automobile enthusiasts to share and develop information and safe driving tactics for the cross-country vehicle user group in particular, and cars in general.
Simultaneously, the event urges cross-country vehicle owners to participate in social tasks such as rescuing or relocating to regions where ordinary automobiles cannot go.
The Vietnam Sports Car Association and the Otofun Community are also providing professional and executive assistance to the initiative.
The competition will include more than 80 teams divided into four categories: basic, advanced pickup, advanced SUV, and extended class.
The village is located in Sơn Tây, some 40km to the west of Hà Nội's centre. VNS
