VietNamNet Bridge – Two cargo loaders at Noi Bai International Airport have been arrested for stealing a passenger's smartphone, the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAA) said on Saturday.

On July 20, Jin Sun-mi, a South Korean national, reported that she had lost a white Samsung smartphone left in check-in luggage for Vietjetair's Incheon-Noi Bai flight the same day.

The airline's technicians in HCM City's Tan Son Nhat Airport found the smartphone the next day hidden in the ceiling of the cargo hold.

Le Van Thien and Le Trong Tai, workers with Ha Noi Ground Services Company (HGS) who offloaded cargo from the victim's flight, were later charged with theft.
