On Tuesday, the organisers of Epizode festival announced that Nina Kraviz, Seth Troxler and Ricardo Villalobos, among others, will grace the decks on Phu Quoc Island this coming December and January at Southeast Asian’s biggest underground dance music festival.

Running from December 28 to January 8, 2019, the third edition of Epizode is set to bring a full 11 days of world-class house and techno to the picturesque beaches of the southern province of Kien Giang.

Russian firm Sagrado Corp, the festival’s organisers, also announced three Viet Nam-based artists on the lineup, namely owner of Ha Noi’s Savage nightclub Ouissam, Savage resident Rifain and Hibiya Line, a pioneer of HCM City’s underground scene and founder of The Observatory nightclub.

In terms of international acts, Epizode has once again secured some of the world’s top DJs. Kraviz is a globally renowned techno artist and runs her own label трип (Trip), Troxler has consistently placed near the top of Resident Advisor’s top DJ polls, while Villalobos is returning for his second Epizode after playing a legendary set at the event last year.

Tickets can be purchased at www.epizode.com, with an 11 day multi-pass costing 129 euro (VND3,500,000) and set to rise to 169 euro on 26 July.

The last two editions this year and in 2016 received rave reviews, bringing world-renowned electronic music artists to Asia, including Carl Cox, Marcel Dettmann and Call Super, a game-changer for the continent’s dance music scene.

More lineup announcements are on the way in the coming weeks and months and it’s safe to say if they’re anything like this one, dance music lovers in Viet Nam are in for a treat.
