The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has appointed Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, as Deputy Head of the city's Anti-Corruption, Waste Prevention, and Negligence Committee.

On the morning of February 27, Nguyen Van Nen, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and Head of the Committee, chaired the ninth session of the Anti-Corruption, Waste Prevention, and Negligence Committee (referred to as the Committee).

During the meeting, the Committee finalized personnel appointments for the Deputy Head position and additional members.

Following this personnel restructuring, the Committee now consists of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen as Head, six Deputy Heads, and nine other members.

The Internal Affairs Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee serves as the standing agency for the Committee.

Previously, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee assigned Nguyen Thanh Nghi to the Inspection and Supervision Committee responsible for monitoring and addressing unresolved complaints and mass petitions in Ho Chi Minh City, where he serves as Head of the Committee.
