Named the Tianquan Buddha Hand Bridge, this structure sits atop a mountain over 1,000 meters high. The Buddha hand stands 23 meters tall, and the bridge is 5 meters wide. Chinese media have even dubbed it the "largest Buddha hand bridge in the world."
From this vantage point, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of majestic mountain ranges such as Tuoyifengjiuya, Chuanchongshi, and Guancaiyan.
Inaugurated during the Lunar New Year of 2023, the bridge opened to the public during the International Workers' Day holiday of the same year. Since its opening, it has become a popular check-in spot in China, attracting 50,000 visitors during its trial period alone.
The Tianquan Buddha Hand Bridge's images went viral on social media, sparking debates due to its similarities with Da Nang's Golden Bridge atop Ba Na Hills in Vietnam.
This isn't the first international structure suspected of copying Da Nang's Golden Bridge design. Previously, the Fairy Hand Bridge in the Dongxuan tourist area (Fujian, China) was noted for its similar concept, differing only in its white-painted hand and glass walkway.
In 2022, a bridge in the Philippines resembling the Golden Bridge also stirred social media. Located in Pikaw resort, Bauko City, Mountain Province, this bridge features a similar arch with two supporting hands. However, it received mixed reactions due to its grey-white paint and red-painted fingernails, humorously referred to as the "Golden Bridge with manicure."
